Dutch for Adults

Per semester, we offer 17 weekly lessons of which 13 are online group classes and 4 gezellige in-person conversation gatherings guided by a teacher. We will work with participants to decide the dates and locations for these in-person conversation classes. The first semester runs from September until December, the second semester from January until May.

Online Interactive Practice Program

In addition to the online and in-person classes, you will have access to an online interactive practice program. This provides the opportunity to further strengthen and practice the skills learned in class at a time that suits you best.

CNaVT Examination

The Dutch School Silicon Valley is an official CNaVT examination location. The CNaVT or Certificaat Nederlands als Vreemde Taal, certifies language proficiency of Dutch as a foreign language worldwide (various levels). If desired, you can prepare for the exams in May during the lessons and obtain the certificate. For more information about the CNaVT click here.

Costs

Costs are $660 per semester + $75 or (depending on level) $90 (per year) for the online practice program.
